Black Acre Farms LLC is nestled in the heart of the Texas Panhandle. In a world that often spins at an unrelenting pace, our farm offers respite in simplicity. The rhythm of our daily life grounds us to this place we call home. The earth, ever generous, gives back more than we put into it — a reminder that hard work and perseverance yield ample rewards.
A late night scroll on Instagram revealed one darling spotted heifer longhorn calf, and our farm was born. Two became three became five became eventually upwards of twenty registered Texas Longhorns. And as our cattle operation began to grow, so did our dreams for a long awaited garden to produce a harvest ranging from cut flowers to fruits and vegetables.
Whether nurturing seedlings in the greenhouse, tending to crops in the field, or working on one of our elaborate projects, we spend hours bettering our land. The laughter of our two boys echoing around our property greets our ears. Our farm is a lifestyle which fosters a genuine connection and maturity within our sons.
